The Stars in April is based on the true story of 12-year-old Titanic survivor, Ruth Becker. The daughter of American missionaries, Ruth grew up in India. But when her younger brother’s illness confounded the Indian doctors, Ruth was forced to leave her home and travel to America aboard the ill-fated RMS Titanic.

To Outwit Them All is set in British-occupied New York City during the American Revolution. Betty Floyd is the niece of William Floyd, a signer of the Declaration of Independence. When a soldier she has befriended is murdered, she joins George Washington’s undercover group of spies, the Culper Ring.
